Sony Interactive Entertainment has registered a new nomenclature to define its PC video game distribution label: PlayStation PC. If only a few days ago different Steam users realized that the Japanese firm had left the previous PlayStation Mobile behind, now it will be PlayStation PC LLC the name we start to see in future computer titles Sony releases.

After Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone, next January will be God of War the one that makes the leap to platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store; while at the beginning of the year it will be Uncharted: Legacy of the Thieves Collection The one that reaffirms once again the commitment of the Japanese firm to amortize its PlayStation Studios productions beyond PS4 and PS5 consoles.
This same week it has appeared in the Steam database another name, Sackboy: A Big Adventure. For his part, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim RyanHe wants to bring his titles to “tens of millions” of players; you are frustrated by the limitations of the installed pool of consoles today.
The year 2022 will continue to be marked by the lack of supply for all consoles. The supply crisis, starting with semiconductor materials and chips for technology companies, is putting the distribution of products with high demand in check. PS5 is no stranger to this circumstance and Sony is aware that in 2022 we will continue to experience a lack of stock. For its part, Intel is even more pessimistic and does not rule out that we will continue with problems until 2023.
If you look at the catalog of exclusive games with the PlayStation Studios label and works third party temporarily exclusive on consoles, stand out names such as Horizon: Forbidden West on February 18, the long-awaited sequel to Aloy; followed by Gran Turismo 7 on March 4, both for PS5 and PS4. Equally promising is Forspoken in the spring and Uncharted: Legacy of the Thief Collection planned for early 2022 (it will also be released on PC later). We do not forget God of War: Ragnarok, which will close the Nordic saga with this second and last installment of the adventures of Kratos and Atreus.
